For Frieze Sculpture 2025, Stephen Friedman Gallery is pleased to exhibit the work of Jaune Quick-to-See SmithTrade Canoe: King of the Mountain (2025) is a monument to Indigenous endurance and memory. A major example of Smith’s significant body of sculptural work, the large-scale bronze is rooted in ancestral memory and carved into the contemporary landscape.

For Frieze Masters 2025, Stephen Friedman Gallery is pleased to exhibit a solo presentation of six new paintings by British artist Anne Rothenstein in the fair’s studio section. Studio, curated by Sheena Wagstaff, highlights Frieze Masters’ commitment to living practice in dialogue with historical art. Bringing together new works alongside studio ephemera, the selection explores the artist’s intuitive process and her inspirations which include found imagery, personal experience and memory.
