Kehinde Wiley features in a new exhibition at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris which is celebrating hip-hop culture by revealing its journey from the Bronx to the Arab streets. Curated by the rapper from Marseille Akhenaton, the exhibition retraces the history of this unique culture from its beginnings in the United States in the 1970s, through its re-appropriation in France in the 1980s, to its development in the streets during the Arab Spring. Nearly a hundred works by American, French and Arabic artists will be exhibited alongside archival documents sides and the Graffiti General book will be part of the exhibited works.

The exhibition runs from 28 April to 26 July 2015.
