The exhibition is made up of works from the ARCO Foundation collection. The ARCO Foundation was founded in 1987 by ARCOmadrid and Ifema as a non-profit organization with the mission of promoting contemporary art. ‘Variation. The obsessive as kind of landscape' features work by over thirty artists, including Rivane Neuenschwander's ‘Recife (Setembro 2003)', a montage of 30 photographic images of Recife, a port city of northeastern Brazil.
The exhibition is curated by Tania Pardo.
The exhibition runs from 12 February until 16 April 2014.
