rivane neuenschwander in group show ‘what makes a home?’ at the national gallery of denmark

11 October 2014
Work by Brazilian artist Rivane Neuenschander will be included in a children's exhibition about homes. The group show titled ‘What makes a home?' opens on 11 October at Statens Museum for Kunst - The National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen.

Neuenschwander, one of the most well known of the Brazilian conceptual artists to appear in the past decade, frequently employs a simple framework and materials (ant-eaten rice paper, coconut powder, ground spices) to convey complex ideas. She has shown her works internationally for over ten years in venues such as the South London Gallery, London, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, and the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis. A major survey exhibition at Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, Brazil opened in September 2014.

The exhibition runs from 11 October 2014 to 26 July 2015.
