yinka shonibare MBE in ‘from life’ at the royal academy, london

11 December 2017
In this exhibition The Royal Academy asks what it means to make art from life, and how the practice is evolving as technology opens up new ways of making and seeing. New interactive work by Yinka Shonibare will be on display in the Tennant Gallery, offering a glimpse of possible future applications of virtual reality. Through this, and other works, we see how emerging technologies such as HTC Vive and Tilt Brush by Google are presenting artists with new ways to both observe and represent themselves.
