Claire Barclay and David Shrigley At Aberdeen Art Gallery, Scotland

Claire Barclay and David Shrigley are included in the group exhibition 'Below another sky' at Aberdeen Art Gallery, Scotland.

This exhibition presents new work in print by 20 outstanding national and international artists commissioned by the Scottish Print Network. The work, which explores the full range and potential of printmaking in contemporary visual arts practice, was produced following a series of international residencies in 2013 and 2014. Artists based in Scotland travelled to Commonwealth countries and artists based in, or originating from, Australia, Canada, India and Pakistan visited Scotland to work directly with one of the five print studios in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. This exhibition is the first opportunity to see all of the work produced as a result of this programme.

The Scottish Print Network is a consortium of five print studios: DCA, Edinburgh Printmakers, Glasgow Print Studio, Highland Print Studio and Peacock Visual Arts. Below another sky is supported by Creative Scotland and is part of Culture 2014.
