'david shrigley: lose your mind' travels to storage by hyundai card in seoul, korea

The major British Council international touring exhibition 'David Shrigley: Lose Your Mind' travels to Storage by Hyundai Card in Seoul, Korea.

Lose Your Mind highlights the breadth of Shrigley's practice and features important works such as his taxidermy pieces such as ‘Ostrich', 2009, which was acquired by the collection of the British Council. Other prominent pieces include 'Beginning, Middle and End', 2009, a sprawling clay work which will spread throughout the gallery space and ‘Cheers', 2007, a pair of rubber fisherman's waders. The exhibition will also present Shrigley's acclaimed animated films and drawings.

The exhibition travelled from The Museum of Contemporary Art in Santiago, Chile the Instituto-Cultural-Cabañas in Guadalajara, Mexico where it originally opened in November 2015.

The exhibition has been curated by Katrina Schwarz of the British Council and will tour next to New Zealand.

‘David Shrigley: Lose Your Mind' runs from 6 October 2016 until 8 January 2017.
