A year after showing at London's National Portrait Gallery, ‘Michael Jackson: On the Wall' travels to the Grand Palais in Paris, France. Dedicated to the singer who was born sixty years ago this year, the exhibition explores Jackson's career and the visual artists with whom he interacted.

The exhibition features the work of forty artists inspired by the King of Pop, from Kehinde Wiley and David La Chapelle to Andy Warhol, and Marvin Gaye Chetwynd. Wiley's 'Equestrian Portrait of King Philip II (Michael Jackson)' - a monumental oil on canvas portrait commissioned by Michael Jackson in 2008 - is included in the display.

The exhibition will travel to The Bundeskunsthalle, Bonn (March to July 2019) and Espoo Museum of Modern Art, Finland (August to November 2019).
