Kehinde Wiley to be Q&A artist at Tate Britain, London, UK

Kehinde Wiley will be in conversation with Tate Collective to mark his first UK exhibition 'The World Stage: Jamaica' here at Stephen Friedman Gallery.

The talk unpicks themes within Kehinde Wiley's work, focusing on evolving notions of identity and cultural influence, globalisation and youth culture, as well as exploring his practice as a contemporary painter within portraiture and the wider international art scene.

Tate Collective is part of Circuit, a national programme connecting 15-25 year-olds to the arts in galleries and museums, led by Tate and funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Kehinde Wiley will be in conversation at Tate Britain from 6 - 8pm on Tuesday 15 October 2013.
