Kendell Geers in 'Why Not Ask Again' at Power Station of Art, Shanghai, China

Kendell Geers is in the 11th Shanghai Biennale which this year is titled ‘Why Not Ask Again' and takes place at the Power Station of Art, the first state-run museum dedicated to contemporary art in mainland China.

First launched in 1996, the biennale has always taken Shanghai as its primary focus, gathering the most talented international curators and artists to explore the connection between urban life, contemporary art and the public.

Kendell Geers' featured work incorporates the Chinese word for revolution which he has folded together to make the Chinese word for Double Happiness.

Shanghai Biennale runs from 11 November 2016 until 12 March 2017.
