Kendell Geers Talk at Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Toronto, Canada

Profoundly marked by his upbringing in South Africa during the Apartheid era, Kendell Geers explores issues of social and political justice in his work.

'BE:LIE:VE', specially commissioned by MOCA for the museum's inaugural exhibition, is one of a number of the artist's neon works. These works expose literal word plays that urge new ways to consider the complexities and paradoxes of language, power and truth.
