Andreas Eriksson

13 March 2020 - 17 April 2020
Andreas Eriksson's fourth solo exhibition at the gallery is comprised of a new series of textiles, hand-woven in untreated yarn from the artist's native Sweden. Rendered in the subtle hues of un-dyed linen, this new body of work draws the viewer into a rich conceptual exploration of his rural surroundings in Medelplana, Sweden. Hovering enigmatically between abstraction and figuration, sculpture and painting, these meditative new works embrace dualities and creates a window onto the landscape that is both familiar and mysterious.

Luiz Zerbini

24 April 2020 - 30 May 2020
Brazilian artist Luiz Zerbini presents his second solo exhibition at the gallery, his first in the UK since his acclaimed solo show at South London Gallery in 2018. New paintings by Zerbini use the grid as a compositional structure to consider the relationship between colour, light and movement. This new body of work juxtaposes organic and geometric patterns, evoking a blend of modernist architecture and lush tropical flora. This exhibition follows Zerbini's solo presentation in the group show 'Trees' at Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain in Paris in July 2019.
