Rivane Neuenschwander and David Shrigley feature in 'An Exhibition for Children (And Other People)'
An Exhibition for Children (And Other People), curated by Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller, imagines the world with the trusting curiosity of a child.
Rivane Neuenschwander's work is characterised by the use of everyday, often ephemeral materials, investigating contemporary political and social issues. David Shrigley is particularly well known for his drawings, which are reminiscent of Art Brut with a deliberately reduced technique and at the same time develop a delicate individuality. Shrigley is perhaps the only comedian in the Art World who is taken seriously and whose work is a constant reminder of how clever and yet simple art can be.
Exhibiting artists inclue Rivane Neuenschwander, David Shrigley, Francis Alÿs, Lara Favaretto, Ryan Gander, Peter Fischli, David Weiss, Temitayo Ogunbiyi, Roman Ondak and Eva Rothschild.
