Caroline Walker was invited to participate in the BBC Radio 3 ‘Sunday feature’, an in-depth series of documentaries exploring music, history, science, philosophy, film, visual arts and literature. Walker explores the life and work of Artemisia Gentileschi, one of the greatest artists of the Baroque age.
Produced by Jo Wheeler ahead of a major retrospective at the National Gallery, ‘Gentileschi's Revenge’ looks at how the artist is represented as a feminist icon for a new generation and explores contemporary interpretations of Gentileschi’s work.
