Kehinde Wiley features in 'Caspar David Friedrich: Art for a New Age’

'Caspar David Friedrich: Art for a New Age’ presents some of Friedrich's most important paintings and drawings in dialogue with a selection of contemporary works, 250 years after Friedrich's birth. A presentation of Friedrich's work celebrates his exploration of the environment, and humans' relationship to their surrroundings. A section of the exhibition presents work by contemporary artists dealing with the same themes. The exhibition at the Hamburger Kunsthalle will mark the start of the Caspar David Friedrich Festival.
