WOOL, WIRE AND STRING

At Frieze Masters, we will present ‘Wool Wire and String': an exhibition which explores the interrogation of line by four twentieth century masters. In the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, Alexander Calder, GeGo (Gertrude Goldschmidt), Eva Hesse and Jiro Takamatsu, used wool, wire and string to redefine their work. This exhibition features rare and important drawings and sculptures by these artists.
