Caroline Walker features in 'Blusher: Art, Makeup, Materiality'

Curated by artist and former makeup artist Cathy Lomax, Blusher: Art, Makeup, Materiality explores the aesthetic and cultural significance of makeup, entangled with themes of identity, gender and ritual. Lomax explains “Blusher is something of a passion project with the primary aim of foregrounding makeup as a thought-provoking (and joyful) subject that can inspire artists and offer insight into a multitude of different areas of social and visual culture.”
The exhibition features works by over 40 artists including Karla Black, Gemma Browne, Cary Kwok, Caroline Walker and Rose Wylie.
