Caroline Coon and Yooyun Yang feature in 'Duet'

WSA, New York, US

Caroline Coon and Yooyun Yang will take part in the group exhibition Duet at WSA, New York, from 4–8 September 2025. Yang’s works Blurred Borderlines (2025) and Untitled2 (2021) will be shown alongside Coon's Adam and Eve in Ladbroke Grove (2007).

Curators Kyle DeWoody and Zoe Lukov explain, "Duet is inspired by conversations we’ve been having around duality, yin and yang, partnerships, twins and two spirits, and mirrors and reflections.  We are hoping to explore the allure of the duet, a dance of tension between two opposing forces, the “do-si-do your partner”, the pas de deux, the vulnerability of companionship, the spirit of double dutch, the energetic link of twins, the uncanny doppelganger, the mirror image/selfie/digital avatar, the good fortune of ibeyi, the terrible twos and the power of a dynamic duo.”
