Alexandre Diop: La Prochaine Fois, Le Feu

For the second edition of its mentorship program, Reiffers Art Initiatives presented the exhibition La prochaine fois, le feu by Alexandre Diop with the mentorship of Kehinde Wiley.

Born in Paris and living in Vienna, Alexandre Diop is a French-Senegalese young multidisciplinary artist whose artistic process is guided by experimentation and historical observation of our societies. His singular approach is between painting and sculpture, using everyday objects such as books, photographs, metal, and wood, as well as fire, and other elemental compounds like rust and animal hair.
