'Counter Acts' is a group exhibition at University of the Arts, London that explores the remarkable relationship between University and the prestigious Turner Prize. Artists featured in the exhibition include previous winners and nominees who studied or taught at the University, alongside emerging graduates. 
 
The exhibition reflects the innovative spirit of the Prize by exploring the power of art as a force to counter dominant social, political and aesthetic discourses. The exhibition features work by artists including Mona Hatoum, Isaac Julien, Jeremy Deller and Yinka Shonibare CBE. The exhibition is curated by Osei Bonsu (Curator of International Art at Tate Modern and CSM alumni).
