Yinka Shonibare CBE announces a new Artist Residency project

British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare CBE has announced his ambitious new Artist Residency project, Guest Artists Space (G.A.S.) Foundation in Lagos, Nigeria. The Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to facilitating international artistic and cultural exchange and to developing creative practices through artist residencies and international collaborations. The Foundation's Lagos space is due to open in 2021. In addition to the Lagos space, residents will have access to a rural residency and studio space in Ijebu, Ogun State. The private Ecological Green Farm (E.G.F.) is set on a thirty-acre plot of land. The E.G.F. will provide quiet and peaceful surroundings for the artists to work in a rural area.
