Lehmbruck Museum, Duisburg, Germany

Lehmbruck Museum presents a solo exhibition by Stephan Balkenhol, developed in close collaboration with the German artist. The show spans Balkenhol's oeuvre from the mid-1980s to the present day and includes several works created specially for the exhibition. Numerous drawings and plaster models provide further insight into Balkenhol’s creative process. The show is accompanied by an illustrated catalogue which includes essays by Dr. Söke Dinkla, Heinz-Norbert Jocks and Ronja Friedrichs.

The exhibition is supported by the National-Bank and the ministry of culture and science of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
