'From Narrow Provinces' is a group exhibition at Cample Line, Scotland, UK. The exhibition brings together artists whose work lies within the junctures between painting and textiles, sculpture and architecture. 

The exhibition includes work by Ruth Laskey, Aleana Egan, Rana Begum, Claire Barclay and Alison Turnbull. United by their investigation of material process, these artists employ a pared down, visual language, using colour and shape to explore the inherent properties of everyday materials. The relief print series 'Unearthing 1–6' by Claire Barclay is included in the exhibition.

In her sculptures and installations, Claire Barclay explores different modes of making related to craft and industrial production, arranging everyday and precious materials in an intuitive, poetic way.
