As part of SOAS's ongoing series of Artist Talks, Yinka Shonibare CBE was joined in conversation by Dr. Gus Casely-Hayford (Director, V&A East) on Monday 25 January, 5–7pm. The event was chaired by Dr. Polly Savage (SOAS School of Arts).
The online event explored Shonibare’s career path as an artist and his current projects, both in the UK and internationally. Shonibare also shared news on his artist residency programme, Guest Artists Space (G.A.S.) Foundation, due to open later this year in Lagos, Nigeria.
