Solo Exhibition
15 October 2021–13 March 2022

deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Massachusetts, USA

Jeffrey Gibson's solo exhibition at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Massachusetts explores the intersections of four powerful words—INFINITE INDIGENOUS QUEER LOVE. This title offers a bold, declarative framework for this exhibition which debuts a series of collages, an immersive display featuring three hanging fringe sculptures, and recent videos created with collaborators, musicians, and performers. Rooted in Gibson's queer and Choctaw-Cherokee identities, the works on display engage with identity as a composite of public life, popular culture and intimate human relationships.

This presentation complements Gibson’s large-scale outdoor installation ‘Because Once You Enter My House, It Becomes Our House’ at deCordova’s Sculpture Park.
