Kehinde Wiley features in 'Artists Inspired by Music: Interscope Reimagined'

Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, California, USA

To celebrate 30 years of impact on culture and creativity, Interscope Records brings together an intergenerational group of visual artists including Cecily Brown, Lauren Halsey, Rashid Johnson, Takashi Murakami, Ed Ruscha and Kehinde Wiley into dialogue with groundbreaking musicians from the last three decades.

Bridging the worlds of music and art, ‘Artists Inspired by Music: Interscope Reimagined’ sees Interscope's most celebrated albums reinterpreted by world-renowned visual artists. The exhibition includes over 50 works, providing a fresh perspective on influential music for the present moment. Kehinde Wiley presents a new iconic album cover for a musical legend, with a reimagined cover for Dr. Dre’s ‘The Chronic 2001’.
