Andreas Eriksson in ‘Double Game: Works from the FRAC Auvergne Collection'

'Double Jeu' (Double Game) presents a selection of over fifty works from the collection of the FRAC Auvergne (Regional Contemporary Art Fund) by around twenty artists. The works are displayed in the two large symmetrical rooms of the Stables, reinforcing the notion of a "double game". However, the 'double game' of the title primarily refers to inevitable ambiguity of works of art that inevitably look both back towards the history of art and into the future.
