Jonathan Baldock participates in 'In Other Worlds'
In Other Worlds: Acts of Translation engages with the theme of translation through storytelling and myth, history and memory, language and materiality. In a time of misinformation, contested histories and unstable narratives, this exhibition reminds us that translation is never neutral but an active, interpretive process that shapes how we relate to the past, to others and to the world around us. The show features Baldock’s work Opus Angelicum (Elizabeth), 2007/ 2008 from the David and Indrė Roberts Collection.
Other exhibiting artists include Michael Armitage, Frank Auerbach, Fiona Banner, Mark Bradford, Louise Bourgeois, Miriam Cahn, George Condo, Martyn Cross, Ellen Gallagher, Pierre Huyghe, Anselm Kiefer, Antoni Tàpies, Danh Vo and Ai Wei Wei.
