Deborah Roberts on view at the Studio Museum in Harlem
The Studio Museum in Harlem reopened on 15 November after a seven-year redevelopment project. The new 82,000-square-foot building, designed by Adjaye Associates with Cooper Robertson, features expansive galleries, an education center, and spaces for community programming.
We are pleased to share that Deborah Roberts’ work Stinney (2019), part of the museum’s permanent collection, is currently on view. The museum continues its mission to promote artists of African descent, with nearly 9,000 works and a display of new pieces by alumni of its artist-in-residence program.
