This group exhibition platforms the work of North-East based creatives and self-taught hobbyists alongside established contemporary artists.

As part of Yale Center for British Art's series, 'at home', Holly Hendry is in conversation with cultural producer Phillip Edwards Spradley about her interest in and approaches to sculpture within the public realm.

Holly Hendry joins Daniel S. Palmer (Curator at Public Art Fund, New York) to discuss her current solo exhibition, ’Holly Hendry: Fatty Acids’ at Stephen Friedman Gallery.

‘Testament’ is a large-scale group exhibition that responds to the seismic shifts in UK society triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Black Lives Matter movement, environmental crises and Brexit. 

A riot of beloved Beano characters are on show alongside similarly rebellious artists at Somerset House this autumn in 'Beano: the Art of Breaking the Rules'.

'Breaking the Mould' is a major touring exhibition which challenges male-dominated narratives of post-war British sculpture by presenting a diverse and significant range of ambitious work by women. Included in the exhibition is Holly Hendry's 'Gut Feelings (Stromatolith)', 2016, a geological-style cross section that references undersides, be it subterranean or subcutaneous. 

Presented by The Arts Club and Wedel Art, ‘Disrupting the Canon’ brings together ground-breaking contemporary works that challenge conceptions of ‘high art’. Reclaiming visual languages that have typically been associated with craft, domestic, vernacular, 'ethnic' and ‘feminine’ work, the show features works by Jonathan Baldock, Holly Hendry and Yinka Shonibare CBE amongst others.

'Las Palmas: Apofenia' is part of 'Chain reaction', an ongoing collaboration between Fidelidade Arte and Culturgest, Porto where the exhibition travels in spring 2021. Amongst the works on display are new sculptures by Holly Hendry that were created for 'Busy Bodies', the British artist's solo project for Frieze London 2020.
